An Aztec inspired environment done for my atmospheric and environmental illustration class. I wanted to play with the idea of the floating gardens, since they have always really interested me. Going with that idea, I decided to make the temple itself float too, which also worked with the Aztec theme since they did reside on an island. Now it's a floating one surrounded by floating gardens.
