Samantha is a city girl who travels to the small town of Ravenswood, where she lives in peace for a while. However, the peace doesn't last for long, when her curiosity leads her to a strange old lady in the woods. Eventually Samantha, the old lady (Mrs. Kipper), a young boy (Hans), and his dog (Tellie), band together to discover the mystery surrounding the town and the forest it resides in.
